How long does it take to complete my order?

Turn around time really depends on how many reels you have, and how backed up we are when you drop off. That said, we typically complete jobs within 5 business days. If you need it faster, just ask! We’ll move you to the front of the line.

Film reels are prone to break. If the film has snapped we can absolutely splice it back together free of charge. However, sometimes heat damaged reels become very brittle.. If this is the case we will be unable to transfer the reel.

Can I get extra copies of my reel transfers?

Do I get a DVD or flash drive for every reel?

DVD’s hold up to 20 50’ 8mm reels, or about 1 hour of footage. DVD’s have menus so that you can select the desired reel, or ‘play all’ with one click. Flash drives hold up to forty 50’ 8mm reels and are a great way to preserve your reels.

Do I get my reels back after they’re transferred?

Yes! Anything you bring in to the shop is returned with the new media when you pickup. Some customers ask about throwing away the reels after they’re transferred. We always suggest that you preview the new media before disposing of any old formats.
